You will use tools like Python and Azure to perform data manipulation, reporting, and predictions applying design thinking and agile methods. Once you've completed the professional training, you could be invited to apply your new skills at a real company for 10 weeks of work experience and mentoring by industry leaders.

  • Explore Machine Learning: Gain knowledge in machine learning, understanding key concepts, and applying algorithms for supervised and unsupervised learning

Entry CriTeria

  1. Applicants must have the legal right to study in New Zealand and either:
    1. Have completed the Level 4 Certificate in Technology Product Development Training Essentials (Level 4) or;
    2. provide evidence of an equivalent qualification and/or experience.
  2. Meet the NCEA Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy standards.
  3. If English isn’t your first language, provide proof of proficiency.
  4. All applicants must have a level of English sufficient to be able to study at this level.
  5. Applications will be reviewed by Mission Ready to ensure applicants have the foundation skills required for success.
  6. Unsuccessful applicants will be referred to an appropriate alternative course and invited to apply again once they have completed that course.
  7. Please note the entry requirement is important as learners need to have certain skills / knowledge before they can specialise in a specific area.
